This is something I thought I’d only see done in the neighborhood basketball courts, but…
On Saturday night, when the Toronto Raptors were playing the Chicago Bulls and might I add, humiliating them at that, Toronto point guard Jarret Jack decided safety comes first and bent down to tie his shoelace. As Ed Lover would say, “C’mon Son!”
But, what was equally as shocking is that at this point in the game, the Bulls were down 27 points and not one of them thought… umm, maybe I should try to steal the ball from him for a easy 2 points! What the fuck…. C’mon Son!!!
I can’t blame Jarret. I mean shit man, I was winning by almost 30 points at the end of the 3rd quarter, I’d pull some shit like that also. If it were up to me, I’d fire everyone from the Bulls, forfeit the season and just regroup for next season. How the hell do you let someone embarass you like that. It’s already worse that you’re losing by that many points, but to have someone tie their shoelace during regulation. Shame on you Chicago, shame on you!
