Nothing beats the first time I saw this video…, the first time I ever heard this song. It’s just so hood, it wasn’t funny. I had no idea what or where Queensbridge was. Well, I figured it had something to do with the borough of Queens.
I knew of many of rappers and groups out of the borough that Prince Akeem went to, to find his wife, but none of them stood out the way these guys did.
It was if they were telling there story so well, with such conviction that you had no choice but to agree that they were ill. It seemed like they were throwing shots at everyone, rapper and street thug, without mentioning any names and even the guys they were talking about were probably like, “I like this shit.”
