Text 4 Jan If You’re Planning A Trip…

Traveling is one of the greatest things to do.  Seeing new people, exposure to new cultures and customs, the food, clothes, attitudes, etc.  There’s nothing like comparing your city to another city somewhere else.

That’s all well and good unless you end up in one of these airports:

The World’s Worst Airports

1.  Baghdad International Airport, Iraq

Formerly called Saddaam International Airport…umm. I wonder why?  I mean, if my ticket had this location as my destination, I wouldn’t even bother.

2.  Indira Gandhi International Airport, India

It’s been reported that the overall layout of this airport is downright pitiful.  It’s chaotic, a mess, and the pace of the airport is slower than shit.  WOW!

3.  Lukla Airport, Nepal

This airport is so small that only helicopters and twin otters can land there.  However, Lukla is a popular town due to the fact that, that’s where most trekkers start their climb of Mt. Everest.

4.  Leopold Sedar Senghor International Airport, Senegal

In 2007, Patrick Smith, author of the Ask the Pilot column for Salon.com, called it the “World’s Worst Airport”, commenting that he found there “only squalor, an unnerving sense of confinement and to some extent danger”

5.  Los Angeles International Airport, United States

This is probably one of the most problematic airports in the world.  LAX is absolutely confusing and the massive 8 terminals don’t do anything in the way of making matters ron smoother.
